These terms apply to your use of the SameThread Studio website. Project work is governed by a separate written scope, proposal or agreement accepted by the client.
Website information
We aim to keep website information clear and accurate, but it is provided for general information and may change. Package prices are introductory and may be updated for future enquiries. A project price becomes binding only when the final scope is confirmed in writing.
Concept previews
Selected or qualified projects may receive an initial custom direction before committing to the full project. A preview may demonstrate navigation, a hero, visual direction, brand direction and a representative content section. It is not a completed website or free finished project.
Project scope and payment
Unless a written agreement says otherwise, an approved project typically begins with a 50% payment and the remaining 50% is due after final review and before launch or handover. Included pages, sections, revisions, delivery targets and any advanced functionality are confirmed before work begins.
Delivery targets
Published timeframes are targets rather than guarantees. Timing depends on scope, availability, timely client feedback and receipt of required content, access and decisions.
Post-launch polish
Where the Signature package includes a 7-day polish period, it covers reasonable minor agreed corrections after launch. It does not provide unlimited redesign, a new website concept, pages outside the agreed scope or materially different functionality.
Ownership and third-party materials
After final payment, the client receives the agreed source code and original project assets described in the project agreement. Third-party fonts, software, open-source libraries, platforms and other licensed materials remain subject to their own terms. Drafts, unused concepts and internal working files are not included unless specifically agreed.
Acceptable use
You may not misuse this website, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with its operation, submit unlawful material or use its content in a way that infringes intellectual property rights.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, SameThread Studio is not responsible for indirect loss arising from use of this informational website. Project-specific warranties, responsibilities and limitations should be set out in the applicable client agreement.
